Quick Intro
Hello,
I am a young creative looking to meld art with technology in an easily accessible way.
I am currently looking for an entry level position to begin my career journey.
I was I Durham College's Game Development program for about 2 and a half years. I greatly enjoyed the work and learned a lot but I switched majors when I realized the specialized nature of the degree would have been restrictive to just the game and animation industries and I wanted to be more well rounded in my skills and abilities.
I switched to the more generalized program of Interactive Media Design at Algonquin college for it's wide range of courses focusing on everything from graphic design and digital art to photography and cinematography to web development and content management. I found it to be a particularly good program to further expand on my coding knowledge and skills as well as aiding in developing my project management abilities.
I found that many of the skills and abilities I learned as well as the conceptual knowledge from Game Development transferred over well to the work I did in Interactive Media Design. And I believe that the skills I learned from both will continue to be useful in both my work life and private endeavors going forward.
